Delete your account and data

You can delete your account and your backed-up data at any time.

In the app

While signed in, open Settings and choose Delete my account and data. The app explains what will happen and asks you to confirm. If another parent has joined your baby, the baby's records pass to them, so nothing is lost for the family. If nobody else has joined, the baby's backed-up records are deleted for good.

Deleting your account does not remove what is stored on your phone. To clear that too, use Reset Journey in Settings.

By email

If you'd rather we did it, email [SUPPORT EMAIL] from the address you sign in with, with the subject "Delete my account". We will delete your account and all associated baby data within 30 days.

If you never signed in, there is nothing of yours on our side to delete: everything is on your phone, and deleting the app removes it.

Common questions

Do I need an account?

No. My Little Baby works on your phone without one. An account is only needed to back up your baby's data or share it with a second parent, and it's optional.

How do I back up, or share with my partner?

In Settings, turn on Cloud Backup and sign in with your email (there's no password: tap Send me a sign-in link and we email you one). The app shows exactly what will be sent and asks for your agreement first. Then invite the other parent by email from Who can see this baby. Their invite works for 14 days, only for that email address.

How do I stop backing up?

Choose Stop backing up in Settings. Nothing more is sent and you are signed out. Your logs stay on your phone.

Can I switch to a different baby?

Yes. Choose Switch Theme in Settings and pick the Warrior, the Footballer, the Dancer or the Hero. Every log, milestone and badge stays.

How do I change my baby's skin tone, hair or eyes?

Open the skin tone, hair and eyes part of Settings. Your baby sits at the top and changes as you tap, and every picture of your baby follows.

The baby is making sounds at night.

Sounds are quiet from 7 pm to 7 am by default. You can change those hours, or turn sounds off, in Settings.

I logged something wrong.

Every log has a pencil to edit it and a bin to delete it. Find the log on that activity's page, or on the calendar day.

I'm worried about my baby.

My Little Baby is a celebratory tracker, not medical advice and not a medical device. If you have any concerns about your child's health or development, talk to your doctor, child health nurse or paediatrician. In an emergency, call 000 in Australia, or your local emergency number.
